"'Zero Won' is a cracking track, the vocals of JH Norris are powerful and work well with the riffs and rhymes that Harry and Paul are laying down"

Back on the 7th of January of this year, I wrote a quick little Facebook write up on LestWeForget and their (at the time) recently released single 'Zero Won'.  And with their EP Theatres of the Mind dropping at the end of the week, I felt it was time to revisit this track and give it the time it deserves.
LestWeForget is a Progressive Metal band from Oxford in the UK and are formed of JH Norris (Bass Guitar & Lead Vocals), Harry Lingard-Bright (Lead Guitar), Paul Heavey (Guitar & Vocals).
'Zero Won' is a cracking track, the vocals of JH Norris are powerful and work well with the riffs and rhymes that Harry and Paul are laying down with their guitars. It's hard and heavy one minute, then easing off a touch before bringing the noise back again. 'Zero Won' is technical without coming across as "too technical". And as I stated back in January, it's a real earworn that works its way in and stays there.

If I had only heard 'Zero Won', I'd be quite excited for Theatres of the Mind to see what else this young and innovating British band can come up with. But I've been lucky enough to get a sneaky early listen to the EP, and all I'll say is... "I'm impressed", 'Zero Won' is just the awesomesauce tip of a just as amazing iceberg.

9/10
