Lythium is a band from Preston, UK, formed in late 2018 by Abz (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Will (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Jordan (Drums), Hazel (Bass, Backing Vocals) and Jimi (Guitar). Lythium have three EPs under their belt, Don't Call Me Shirley (2018), Departure (2019) and Have it All, which was released on the 31st of July of this year, they did a bunch of shows in the North-West of England in early 2019, and hope to start touring again around the end of November. Who Are They?
Self Talk is a five piece act out of Melbourne, Australia, formed by: Stacey Cicivelli (Vocals, Guitar), Frank Morda (Drums), Amanda Norman (Keys, Backing Vocals), Xavier Rubetzki Noonan (Guitar, Backing Vocals) and Alexa Nania (Bass). Their latest single 'Don't Ask' only came out on the 6th of August and has already been featured on triple j Unearthed, and if you know a bit about Ozzie radio, it's a pretty big deal. Here's what Self Talk vocalist Stacey says on the track 'Don't Ask': "'Don't Ask' originally started as a little add-on to our song 'Clean Washing'. I started playing the first verse as an intro to that song at shows. We eventually worked it into a full song and it became a kind of part 2 to 'Clean Washing', a bit of a resolution. It's about realising that some of the stuff you're fed growing up about being a successful woman is nonsense, about seeing yourself clearly and making your own rules." MKD, born Mrinmoy Kumar Das, is a 25 year old producer, composer and performer from Assam, India. MKD is the head of an enterprise/ record label called Smokestreet.inc and plays guitar in the duo Niharika & Mrinmoy. His latest solo release is a 3 track EP called Just a piece of Advice that came out on the 25th of August. Who Are They?
Diamond Construct is Kynan Groundwater (Vocals), Braden Groundwater (Guitar), Adam Kilpatrick (Drums) and Alex Ford (Bass), hailing from Taree, Australia. They released their first album Diamond Construct in 2019, and the single below, 'Psychosis', is one of the 4 tracks included in the EP DCX2 that came out on the 28th of August Diamond Construct are planning to go back on the road starting at the end of October and will be touching towns in all Australian states. Graupel is Sota (Vocal), Yuu (Guitar), Tomo (Bass), TKG (Guitar) and Julien (Drums) from Tokyo, Japan. The band was formed in 2015 and they have since released a full-length album called Bereavement plus three singles: 'Horizon', 'Etherial' and 'Towpath'. Lutharo (Elvish word for “The Enchanter”) is a band from Hamilton, Canada, formed at the end of 2013 of Krista Shipperbottom (Lead Vocals), Victor Bucur (Lead Guitars/Back Up Vocals), John Raposo (Guitar), Chris Pacey (Bass) and Duval Gabraiel (Drums). Lutharo's latest EP Wings of Agony, was released on the 27th of March 2020 and features the track 'Blood Lightning' that you can to check out below. I Am Pariah is Benjamin Antony James (Vocals), Dave Snell (Guitar) and Steve Westerholm (Guitar), an unsigned three piece from Stoke-on-Trent, UK, that are about to release their new EP, follow up to Procreate//Annihilate (2018), called Charm Before The Storm on the 27th November, that was mixed and mastered at Lower Lane Studios by Sam Bloor during the lock-down of early 2020. Here's what the band said about their newest track: "The new single 'Suck It Up' targets the topic of chaotic relationships, which comes from our own personal experiences of being wronged. Dead Romantic is a brand new band that formed during lock-down and on the 14th of August was already premiering on all platforms their first ever track: 'All Talk'. Dead Romantic is formed by Benjamin Owen (Vocals, Guitar), and multiplatinum record producer Mike Krompass (Guitar), plus special guest drummer Eddy Thrower from Lower Than Atlantis, on a few tracks of their soon to be released album. Here's what Mike said about 'All Talk': “The single came really easily. The three of us were sat in a room with my great friend and co-writer, award winning songwriter Steve Diamond. It felt like the song pretty much wrote itself. The melody came quickly, the lyrics flowed and the title just popped. The chemistry was amazing. Formed by Francesco Fonte (Voice, Guitar), Wayne Casserly (Drums) and Douglas Wheeler (Bass), 8SNAKE have been around since 2011, and under their previous name, Francesco Fonte Band, published Blue Omens (2011), the EP Arousal Addiction (2013) and Eight (2018). After the recent re-brand, 8SNAKE have been busy recording in the lock-down months, working on the new release Kuiper Belt on the 7th of August, a live album of jam sessions from 2014 till 2020. Here's what the band said about Kuiper Belt: "The best thing about this release is that all tracks have been played just once. None of the tracks were ever rehearsed or played twice. All tracks are pure improvisations and there was no intention from us to make it sound that tight or to release an album. The tracks are frozen in time, left behind, like most of the Kuiper Belt objects, frozen volatiles (termed “ices”) but we’re here to bring them back to life." M99 is a female/ male fronted band from Ocala, US, that injects their heavy hitting Metal tunes with social causes they work with, such as suicide, but also hope and not giving up, their 'Release Me' and 'Queen' are all about thriving after surviving domestic violence. M99 is currently working on #savethechildren and will be playing a fundraiser to help the fight against pedophilia. M99 is formed by Ash Canzie and Shawn Hannigan on vocals, ZECH and Cristofer Williams are both guitarists, Vegas is in charge of the bass line and JOEY is the drummer. In their live shows, M99 have already shared the stage with bands such as Godsmack, Pop Evil, Atreyu, Three Days Grace, Underoath, Motionless In White, Badflower, Flaw, Puddle Of Mudd, Saliva, Chelsea Grin, Tantric and Drowning Pool.
