Hereditary is a movie that snuck up on me from nowhere. With a talented cast and an unknown director in his first feature film outing - indie horror is back baby.
If I thought last week’s Twin Peaks series review was hard, I now have to try and explain mother!, a film that is drawing both massive amounts of praise and hate from critics and the public alike. Personally I really enjoyed mother! and I will admit I walked into the cinema not really caring. It Comes At Night isn’t a slasher, jump out of your skin, creepy scenes fest and those are probably some of the reasons why it wasn’t embraced fully by the very demanding horror community that I'm proudly part of, but I fall in the group of people that actually really enjoyed this flick.
