Perfectparachutepicture's new single and lyric video 'Working Machine' is out now.

Picture

"...sounds like they've taken some extra inspiration from bands like, and probably including: Biffy Clyro and Queens Of the Stone Age, which when added to what was already in the mixing pot, causes it blow up in an awesome, riff heavy mess of tunes."

The duo from Sheffield, UK, known as Perfectparachutepicture (AKA PPP), made up of Edward James on bass and Kyle Ernest on drums and lead vocals, is back with their new single 'Working Machine' which was released on the 28th August and follows their independently released debut album, No Modern Desire from 2019.

Picture

"...at 1 minute, DREAMEATER really hit their stride and 'Shatter' comes out of its shell, and I think that is one of the heaviest breakdowns I've ever heard."

Social Scream proves Thrash is alive and well.

"The track chugs along great and really hearkens back to the glory days (the 80's for you youngins) of Heavy Metal and the vocal content really fits well with the song's overall feel."

Social Scream is a Heavy Metal band hailing from Sparta, Greece, that was formed in 2008. Made up of Vlasis Diamantakos (Guitars, Vocals), Giannis Lymberakos (Guitars), Alexandros Oikonomou (Bass) and Dimitris Kiousis (Drums), the boys were originally a cover band, but after a while they decided to blossom their own concept, and fast forward to today, they now have three albums under their belts: Epiclesis from 2014, Initiation To the Myths in 2018 and the latest Organic Mindset that was released on the 10th of March 2020.

This is what happens to musicians in lockdown...

Picture

"I know a lot of people were frustrated during the lockdown, but something tells me Void of Vision's vocalist Jack Bergin felt it worse..."

Last year we featured Void of Vision's 'Hole In Me' as a Track of the Week, in that review I said we could include the Melbourne based group in any list of amazing Aussie Metalcore bands.
