Enter Shikari are one of those bands that never fails to excite me when they release new music, simply because they don't do the same thing twice and are always experimenting. It also helps that their lyrics are very political and thought provoking.
In today's world, we need this cover more than ever.
I had completely forgotten about this song until the other day, when it randomly came on the radio and I had to stop what I was doing to just listen to it. Then I decided that Green Day's cover of John Lennon's 'Working Class Hero' had to be my next Awesome Covers track.
Why won't mainstream media play these guys... oh yeah.
Dune Rats have been plying their trade for almost a decade now, but I only discovered them late last year while in Australia, where their single 'Crazy', was all over the youth radio stations on heavy rotation and I found it infectious with it's high tempo energy.
It was mentioned to me by Mags the other week that I haven’t done an album review in almost two months now. Well that changes today with my look at Club Dragon by Hightower, a Rock Punk infusion out of France. I really enjoyed this record, it took me back to the mid noughties with its sound, making me reminiscent of bands and songs I’d hadn’t thought of in years.
Some people are saying A Day To Remember’s new album Bad Vibrations cements their place as the kings of metalcore. I say bullshit
I’m glad I finally got the chance to review A Day To Remember record, I’ve known of them for years but never really heard much of their stuff besides the singles that are all over the Rock and Metal airwaves here in the UK and to be fair most of the said singles are pretty decent and hard hitting.
