LestWeForget are one of those hard working bands that never seem to stop and rest, just last year they released the EP Theatres of the Mind, which included the awesome single 'Zero Won'. Instead of just taking it easy during this global pandemic, they've dropped new music in the form of the epic 'Visitors'.
Who is Periphery?
Periphery is a Progressive Metal band that formed in 2005 in Washington, D.C. Periphery have put out 5 albums before Periphery IV: Hail Stan (math is hard). Periphery left their previous label, Sumerian Records, and started their own record label, 3DOT Recordings, for Periphery IV: Hail Stan.
Who is Devin Townsend?
Devin Townsend is a Canadian musician focusing on Heavy Metal and Prog music. Devin founded the band Strapping Young Lad, performed lead vocals for Steve Vai, and released more than 23 albums from all his musical endeavors. Devin’s time with Steve Vai opened his eyes to the music industry, and Devin was not a huge fan. Devin felt as if he was being used and was a product of another’s imagination. Perhaps this is why all of his original works are so out of this world and unique.
Who is Northlane?
Northlane is a Metal band from Sydney, Australia which formed in 2009. They have four full length albums (Discoveries, Singularity, Node, Mesmer). Jordan and I will take a deep dive into their sophomore album, Singularity, which was released in 2013. One thing to note is that the members of the band have changed over the years. The biggest change would be the original vocalist, Adrian Fitipaldes, left in 2014.
Only a Prog Metal band could even think of making a Divine Comedy concept EP.
Flight of Eden are a Reading (UK) based 4 piece Prog Metal group, who for their second release decided to go all out. Instead of dropping just another EP or even a regular full length album, Flight of Eden went with a concept EP based on The Inferno part of Dante Aligheri's The Divine Comedy, simply called Dante's Inferno.
