The column where you can discover the best new artists of the moment is back with its third edition, because there is no greater feeling than starting to listen to someone when they're underground and then see them succeed. That's why here we are trying very hard to give the most notable musicians out now a launching pad where they can be seen by a wider, international audience.
So it's time to open your Spotify and get ready to save your next favourite act from the ones we have selected for you this month.
Italy, why are you hiding these awesome bands from us?
One of our recent discoveries, the Italian band from Turin, Hot Sunday Blood, have created their own and very distinctive version of Alt/ Heavy Rock, thanks to each member of the five piece having quite different backgrounds. Their current sound fuses Metal, Stoner, Grunge, Black Metal, Prog and even New Wave.
Welcome back to the second edition of Ronon's Reviews The 10 Most Promising Music Acts Right Now! In this monthly list I will try to vary as much as possible the type of artists I talk about and I think this piece is the proof, as you can find Alt-Pop, Punk, Hip Hop, Death Metal and even some Hardcore, because why the hell not, if the music is good, I think it should be promoted.
So if you like what you see below, support your fave and also us = like + share + follow!
Join us as we discover a new sub-genre of fun and old school noise.
Ever heard of the genre Nintendocore before? I wouldn't blame you if you haven't, it's not something that gets much, if any airtime on mainstream radio. I only discovered it by accident a year ago or so when I was doing some Metalcore related research and stumbled across it. I didn't dig any deeper at the time and forgot about it for the most part, until recently a few Nintendocore tracks worked their way into my Spotify discovery playlists. I'm now a convert.
Ronon's Reviews is a small independent music website where we, only four of us active at the moment, cover talented up and coming artists and bands (not to mention all the work the behind the scenes!), and while we'd absolutely LOVE to review and/or interview each one that we get excited about, we have a difficult time squeezing everybody in... Enter this new column!
We might not have the time to do a full blown piece on everybody, but we sure can share with you, once a month, the 10 musicians we find worthy of being noticed by the whole wide world!
