Ever heard of the genre Nintendocore before? I wouldn't blame you if you haven't, it's not something that gets much, if any airtime on mainstream radio. I only discovered it by accident a year ago or so when I was doing some Metalcore related research and stumbled across it. I didn't dig any deeper at the time and forgot about it for the most part, until recently a few Nintendocore tracks worked their way into my Spotify discovery playlists. I'm now a convert.
Does Ghost Recon Breakpoint live up to the hype?
As some of you regular readers and Twitch followers might know, I love Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands, a title that I came late to, but made up for it by playing the shit out it still to this day, I can easily loose myself in the Bolivian landscape for hours at a time. The following review is of the limited Beta test that took place from the 5th till the 8th of September, where I spent roughly 16 hours.
Game developers be like "Let's see if they like an even harder zombie apocalypse".
As some of you may remember, we reviewed State of Decay 2 last year (8th of June to be exact), and while it had some problems and bugs (most of which have been tweaked or fixed) I still really enjoyed the game.
Two of my favourite things, Gaming and Metalcore, coming together perfectly!
A friend of mine, who I never would have pegged as a Metalfan, recently ousted herself to me by revealing her love of Sharks In Your Mouth’s last album Sacrilegious, recommended to me the American Metalcore band August Burns Red, a group that I was only familiar of by name.
An MMO for your phone that kills more than just time and your battery.
This is a game I’ve been playing on and off for the past year and feel it deserves a review. Last Day On Earth: Survival is a sandbox, zombie MMO (Massive Multiplayer Online) with hints of The Sims for a bit of fun, and the goal of the title is plain and simple: survive.
