Henceforth I'm promoting Mags to head of A&R!
A few weeks ago, Mags tagged me on Instagram of a video of a band doing a cover of Linkin Park’s ’From The Inside’, I was blown away, to say the least. The group in question was October Ends, a 4 piece Melodic Metalcore outfit from Newcastle, right here in the UK.
I downloaded their latest EP, A New Path straight away and I've been enjoying it since; can't say the rest of my workmates think the same, but screw 'em... they're not Metalheads, so they have no taste!

So when I found out they were headed my way for a show in Brixton supported by Stick To Your Guns and Asking Alexandria, I knew I was in for an epic night.
With my first non-cover live act of the year coming up soon I thought it might be a good idea to actually listen to the group’s album after only hearing a few tracks, what I found was pure gold.
Moorhaven is an unsigned 5-piece metal/hardcore band based in Plymouth UK introduced to me through their drummer Tom Evers-King who was the Clown from the amazing KnotSlip (Slipknot tribute act) I saw, loved and covered with a review late 2015. When KnotSlip called hiatus back in mid-January of this year I sent the
