Ronon's Reviews is a small independent music website where we, only four of us active at the moment, cover talented up and coming artists and bands (not to mention all the work the behind the scenes!), and while we'd absolutely LOVE to review and/or interview each one that we get excited about, we have a difficult time squeezing everybody in... The end of an era, marks the beginning of a new one with Species.
Ever since Crossfaith announced their Species EP back in April, I've been crawling the walls in anticipation. The Japanese five piece have never released anything short of amazing, and I could feel that this brief record would follow suit. Also I was more than a little curious of the band's attempt to broaden their horizons, since lead singer Kenta Koie had confirmed that Species was going in a new direction musically.
