Ford follows up with an ambitious multilayered Thriller.
I have to begin by stating that the visuals in the opening credits are uniquely symbolic, yet at the same time so obscene that I kid you not, 10% of the auditorium did not make it through the opening credits. And I should warn: if you’re the type of viewer that starts munching as soon as the credits start rolling, you’re ability to hold your food down may be tested. And while that alone may stir your curiosity, what follows after is a tense story that unravels through present and past events which are re-channeled through a cruel fiction of love and crime.
I’ll start off by stating that it’s refreshing to see a reboot series of the legendary horror novels on basic television, and not be disappointed! On the contrary, I say The Exorcist is worthy of a Friday night audience.
