Beartooth ask: are they destined for Greatness or Death?

But the question remains, how can they follow this up?
With Disease of course. An album dedicated to lead singer Caleb Shomo’s battle with depression, so be prepared for an emotional onslaught. While toned down a bit from their last LP, Disease still brings the aggression to your ears but just in smaller doses. ‘Greatness or Death’, the opener, is truly epic, it begins with some acoustic guitar strumming and almost whispered singing, you think you’ve chosen the wrong album before this mass of beautiful musical noise just slams your ears into submission. I’ll admit it, I jumped the first time I heard it.
‘Fire’ is another great track that is full of energy, and I can see it getting played a lot when Beartooth take to the road to promote the album. ‘Manipulation’ rounds off my favourite tunes off Disease, the guitar riffs are on point and the vocals work exceptionally well when paired with the music, I could listen to ‘Manipulation’ till the end of times.
"Disease is chock full of amazing tunes, yes they’ve toned down their sound just a touch but there are plenty of head banging moments still to be had"
