A wishy washy Horror take on the stigmata.Being raised Christian, obviously a movie about a person having stigmata wounds is appealing. Turning it into a horror, I thought, would be more interesting – yes and no.

Parkway Drive’s show has them in an early lead for Dan’s Live Act of the Year.
The night of the 8th of April will live on in my mind for a very long time, because Parkway Drive absolutely fucking killed it. They boys from Byron Bay Australia, are still touring the world on the back of 2015’s truly awesome Ire, how good is it? It won my inaugural Best Albums of 2015 and it's still one of my go to when I've got nothing to listen to. Last summer the band streamed a festival performance for free through their Facebook and it was that good I knew I just had to see them live. So when I found out they were headed my way for a show in Brixton supported by Stick To Your Guns and Asking Alexandria, I knew I was in for an epic night.
Haters gonna hate...
Is this much riddled remake of the original Wes Craven classic as bad as everyone says it is? It was panned by everyone but especially A Nightmare On Elm Street fans upon release but made a healthy profit, so was it really so horrible? No way. Directed by Samuel Bayer, who was behind the camera of many music videos for such artists as Justin Timberlake, Blink 182, Green Day, David Bowie and Metallica... to name a few. He's no slouch and artistically it's very strong but this is his first foray into feature films. Bayer tells a very similar story but with some new ideas thrown in.
