Let's be honest, 2019 was an epic year for albums, we had Slipknot's absolute monster We Are Not Your Kind, then there was Tool's triumphant return Fear Inoculum and all the other amazing releases in between. It made me wonder how 2020 could ever top its predecessor, and after scouring the internet for both fact and plausible rumour, I've compiled this list which is a mixture of confirmed and hopeful records from bands who will or should be dropping something soon.
New year, new music! Check out below the biggest titles coming out in January. We have a few Pop princesses making a come back, two awesomely original bands from Finland, some Australian skater dudes that I'm really enjoying, an American Hip-Hop trio is reuniting for their fourth studio album after going solo, and a few Rock legends reappear after a few years of silence.
Welcome everyone to November's Albums list, and while there are more than a handful on this list, we're not overly impressed with this month's releases. There is nothing that really jumps out at us here at Double R headquarters. So don't expect a review of any of these.
But if you're interested in some of these titles, click on the cover and you'll either find a pre-sale link or a previous release from the artist.
We will be putting the reviews on hold (unless something huge comes up) for the week and only be posting about next month's releases, starting with the albums!
And there are some exciting titles coming out in October, I mean, BABYMETAL always manages to raise eyebrows, the Rock veterans Alter Bridge never disappoint, the Aussie Metalcore outfit Thornhill blew me away with their last record, will they make it two in a row? And of course, who wouldn't want a massive 3 disk Freddie Mercury box set?
Where will we be seeing you next summer?
