October is shaping up to be a massive gaming month, we've got some interesting new titles and remasters that look truly amazing (looking at you Ghostbusters and MediEvil), and of course the reboot of Modern Warfare! When I first heard of the Modern Warfare I wasn't keen, especially after they recast the voice of Captain Price, but watch the trailer and tell me you're not excited. Destiny 2 has become Free To Play this month just in time for the Shadowkeep DLC, again, watch that video and I'll see you on the moon.

Now we have film's turn in the sun, and there are some huge titles set to come out in the next 29 days. Including the one everyone is itching to see Joker, for Dan he was excited for The Addams Family but not so much anymore, now he's all about Zombieland: Double Tap.

I'm going to be honest, there isn't much I want to play that is coming out this month, don't get me wrong, Blair Witch looks like a really cool Survival Horror title that I might look into at some point, but that is it really... Though I'd love to check out World Of Warcraft Classic, if it wasn't a subscription based game.

As July comes to a close, it's the perfect time to have a look at what we should be looking forward to in movies, games and music releases for the month that is on the horizon.

Today we open with the movies out in August, so you have enough notice to find a babysitter for your kid to have a night out, you and your friends have been talking about for aaages, or make up an excuse for work as to why you need to finish early that day because going the late screening messes up your sleeping schedule.
